In advance of the IDMA Annual Conference taking place in Dublin on September 21st in the Gibson Hotel, a podcast featuring a discussion on how direct marketing is evolving with IDMA Chairperson, Kathy Clarke, and Gary Brown, Group Chief Executive of RMG Target, Direction@JWT and Goosebump. Gary will act as MC for the event, give the opening address and participate in the expert panel discussion. The topic of brand loyalty is discussed with particular reference to newcomer Liberty Insurance in the Irish market. We also discuss how digital is impacting on the DM sector. Gary discusses how to make an emotional bond with customers. He is somewhat critical of many of the loyalty schemes currently in operation.
